A young girl is holding a gas lamp where its light and colourful smoke swirls around and above, representing the fading memories. As she continues to walk forward, she‘s letting go of past pain and welcoming hope.
Basically I’ve sketched this scene in purplish-blue hues of dawn, symbolising a new day filled with courage and determination. Meanwhile, the flowing calligraphy adds a touch of graceful stroke.
This is my entry for a cover art competition, though I didn‘t win, I loved working on this piece and honing my calligraphy skills. Creating cover art for an artist is a dream of mine, and I believe one day I will have the chance to share music through my illustrations.
